    Location: Remote USA

    Terms: Full Time / Direct Hire (unable to work C2C or engage with 3rd parties)
    Salary: 125-150K plus 5% Bonus and Benefits
    Reports To: Director of Engineering

    About our opportunity:

    As a Sr. .NET API Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing our software solutions and applications. Every day, you will create scalable solutions using .NET Core technologies that integrate with Azure and AWS cloud-based applications, user interfaces, and RESTful APIs.

    To be successful in this role, you will have experience delivering high quality applications, help to ensure deadlines are met, mentor junior developers, and support multiple teams to deliver on Sprint goals.

    About our team:

    Companion Protect’s Engineering team exhibits a can-do attitude which they apply in their Sprint goals with internal and external partners to deliver on-time.

    What you’ll do here:

    • Define back-end RESTful services integration for optimum scalability and usability.
    • Assess current technology and work with staff to define ways to improve.
    • Expertise in source code management, feature branching and GIT repositories.
    • Maintain and enhance both internal and external .NET Core.
    • Maintain and enhance both internal and external ASP.NET Core Web.
    • Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, Unit testing, and reliability are being considered when developing solutions.
    • Collaborate with technology team to establish and document development and compliance standards, system components and application usage.
    • Remain knowledgeable and apply web development and application trends, technologies, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

    What You’ll Bring To The Team

    • 5+ years’ experience in either a Full Stack Developer role or Back-End Engineer role or similar.
    • Experience with back-end languages such as C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC & Web API, REST, and JSON.
    • Bonus: Experience with client-side technologies such as ReactJS, AngularJS, Angular 2+, JavaScript, HTML5, JSON, and CSS.
    • Commitment: Dedication to the work they do and the customers they serve.
    • Teamwork: Strong desire for team success
    • Resourcefulness: Creative, innovative, and effective problem-solver
    • Experience in unit/integration testing
    • Bonus points:
      • AZURE API Manager experience
      • SAFe Agile experience
