    Non-Profit providing housing and support services to Youth/Young Adults facing homelessness.

    POSITION OVERVIEW: To provide shelter supervision (custodial) and delivery of residential services to residents within the framework of the Mission Statement, Principles, and Policies and Procedures of the organization. This position is required to adhere to all agency policies/procedures and practices (time/attendance, cell phone, telecommunications, safety, alert). This position requires on-duty meals and breaks.

    Essential Functions

    o Facilitate all intakes for new residents, including collecting data, inspecting resident belongings, and orienting residents to house expectations and guidelines.

    o Provide Residents with a list of house rules.

    o Liaise with the housekeeper to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate residents’ needs.

    o Conduct room inspections to ensure Residents are properly maintaining their area, a clean and neat manner per house rules.

    o Ensure safety and security within the house at all times.

    o Provide administrative support by answering the phone and greeting visitors and volunteers, ensuring that they have a positive experience.

    o Check in with Residents who are on-site to ensure Resident safety and welfare.

    o Respond to resident complaints in a timely and professional manner.

    o Assist with conflict resolution in coordination with Resident Case Manager, always aiming to maintain a fair, positive, and supportive culture.

    o Sensitive and responsive to the cultural differences among the agency’s client population

    o Actively participate in a quality improvement project The Resident Advisor will take on special projects or additional duties as assigned

     

    The position pays $18-$21 per hour
