    VICE PRESIDENT, COVENANT SOLAR TECH:  RALEIGH/DURHAM, NC 

    The Vice President of Covenant Solar Tech will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations in the Solar Tech division, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization and team. 

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    ● Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains staff in the department. 

    ● Oversees the daily workflow of the department. 

    ● Provides constructive performance evaluations. 

    ● Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. 

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ● Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of Covenant Solar Tech Division. 

    ● Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems. 

    ● Collaborates with other divisions and departments (primarily sales and general contracting) to carry out the organization's goals and objectives. 

    ● Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials. 

    ● Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision. 

    ● Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution. 

    ● Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects. 

    ● Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management. 

    ● Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided. 

    EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS: 

    ● Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Construction, or other industry-related field preferred. 

    ● At least 8 years of industry-related experience including 5 years in construction field work and 2-3 years experience in sales. 

    ● General business knowledge to understand growth and future projections of organizational needs (i.e. staffing, material estimates, branch expansions, etc.). 

    SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES: 

    ● Strong supervisory and leadership skills required; communicate and be committed to the organization's mission, vision and principles. 

    ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

    ● Excellent organizational skills-ability to prioritize work, multi task and be detail oriented 

    ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

    ● Ability to work in a work environment that is fast paced and ever changing. 

    ● Ability to be flexible and willing to change directions easily. 

    ● Strong team player and willing to help others across the organization. 

    ● Self motivated. 

    ● Ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals-proactively communicates to mitigate questions, concerns and so parties feel heard. 

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

    ● Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to make inspections. 

    ● Must be able to lift up to +70 pounds at times; specifically roof pallets 

    TRAVEL REQUIRED:

    ● Multi-state travel
