Qualifications of a Covey Caregiver:

18 years of age or older.

Measures the success in your day by the number of smiles you make happen.

Does the RIGHT thing even when it’s the hard thing to do.

Understands the importance of treating everyone with respect – participants, co-workers, community members – EVERYONE!

Has a deep desire to have coworkers who share your passion of helping others.

Comfortable helping with personal care (bathing, toileting, eating, etc.)

At Covey, the participants, staff, and caregivers believe in creating opportunities, and we believe in doing it together. We are a community of passionate individuals––participants, staff, caregivers, and volunteers––working together to create possibilities for our participants and their families.

For over 65 years, we have served individuals (ages 18-64) with disabilities and their families in the Fox Valley region. Our areas of expertise include respite care, skill community engagement, life enrichment, and volunteerism.
