    TRAVEL: Up to 15% domestic travel

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Sales Operations Manager role serves as a critical hybrid role in daily sales operations. This role will report directly into the Head of National Sales based in Hartford, CT with a dotted line to the CEO   The role supports three main groups: national sales team, enterprise sales team and occasional CEO support.  This is a growth oriented role requires a self-starter and problem solver with a growth mentality.  

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Serves as the point person for development and implementation of all training and recruiting programs using our LMS system and recruiting system. 
    • Performs various daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting and sales analysis to help maximize sales effectiveness. 
    • Updates and maintains our advisor CRM system. 
    • Provides active sales/marketing support to include creating pitch decks, trade show logistics, setup coordination and event planning. 
    • Assist in administering and maintaining the full cycle recruitment process (job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, and on-boarding for the national sales team and Hartford office. 
    • Partners with National Sales Manager and Key Account Directors to drive Covr partnerships with new institutions, enterprise sales, coordination of SalesForce and and meetings related to this endeavor are key. 
    • Serves as the site and HR leader for the Hartford office; including HR administration, culture, office functions, etc. 
    • Occasional CEO support, travel bookings, employee engagement initiatives and projects, and more. 
    • Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

     

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline, or any equivalent combination of education/experience
    • Minimum of 2+ years of sales operations support; preferably in insurance. 
    • Prior experience working within a small size organization, preferably under 100 employees. 
    • Some HR / office / admin experience required.

     

     

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    • PC skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), applicant tracking software and HRIS systems. 
    • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter that operates quickly and efficiently in a highly fast paced environment and works well under pressure.
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
    • Teamwork and collaboration - working with internal and external customers as business partner to achieve business goals.
    • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maturity.
