    SUMMARY:

    This role is responsible driving process improvements throughout our department delivery organization. The role will include reviews of current and identification of new processes, and drive improvements on costs, effectiveness, and efficiency. The position will require constant communication and integration with our partners. As process improvements are identified, they need to be reviewed with partners, and communicated effectively across all impacted teams. There will be Portfolio Services and Service Management components of this position that will require successful candidates to understand processes that supports both of those efforts. Continuous improvement processes are a fundamental part of this position. All candidates must be willing to identify opportunities, define changes, and implement changes while keeping all our internal and external customers engaged and informed. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Tracks key project milestones in Jira and other tools to meet the needs of our customers
    • Establishes and implements delivery management processes in conjunction with the Portfolio Services team
    • Analyzes processes to ensure projects are delivered in a standard way, and that they meet the needs of our customers
    • Assists with the work entry processes for delivery management related efforts
    • Partners with ESD to track work stream intake, and to implement standard processes across EDIS
    • Partners with other teams within EDIS to ensure smooth hand-offs end effective communications occur
    • Assists with the mitigation of issues, resolves bottlenecks, and works with capacity planning reports and dashboards
    • Utilizes lean processes to ensure effective utilization of company resources
    • Reviews current processes to identify gaps and opportunities with EDIS Delivery Management
    • Implements Continuous Improvement processes
    • Reviews and defines Service Management processes to ensure the Delivery Management team is continually adding value across EDIS
    • Drives adoption of Service Management across EDIS while maintaining lean management principles
    • Assists in the building of Project and Portfolio Service Dashboards that can be utilized for tactical and strategic reports
    • Helps with the development of Portfolio metrics and associated dashboards
    • Ensures that all improvements implemented are customer centric
    • Builds strong partnership relationships
    • Measures progress towards departmental and company goals
    • Assists in the development and implementation of KPIs across Portfolio Services and Delivery Management.

    Qualifications:

    MINIMUM:

    • 7+ years of project management experience
    • Strong understanding of Change Management principles
    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • Strong process management skills
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Experience reporting and communicating across all levels of the organization
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent decision making skills

    PREFERRED:

    • PMI certification in Project Management
    • Advance Degree (MBA)
    • Management experience and skills
    • Self starter with the ability to see work through to its successful completion
    • Highly motivated, with a positive attitude, ability to face the challenges in a fast-paced environment within a customer experience-focused organization.
