Description Creative Services Associate Producer Cox Media Group Ohio is looking for an entry-level Associate Producer to work with the creative advertising team. The Associate Producer will perform both administrative and video production tasks. This position will primarily edit commercials and other video projects. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Creative Advertising Manager as needed and attending shoots to help with setup and tear down of equipment. The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to collaborate with others, possess a positive attitude and demonstrate a strong commitment to continually enhancing their technical skills. Responsibilities: -Video editing of commercials and other video projects using still images or video footage in Adobe Premiere Pro -Create motion graphics or other video effects using Adobe After Effects -Assist Producers by setting up lighting, audio monitoring equipment, microphones and other equipment during on-location and green screen shoots -Set up and run teleprompter on shoots -Videographer duties for live Saturday remotes, as well as any after-hours and weekend shifts -Provide ideas and input during Creative Huddles and Brainstorms with the Creative Services team, Media Consultants and clients -Write scripts based on concepts developed during Creative Huddles, Brainstorms or copy points provided by the client -Convert and distribute edited commercials via FTP or other file transfer/upload service Qualifications Skills and Qualifications: -Bachelor's Degree from accredited College or University with focus on Television, Film, Media Communication, or equivalent field experience required -Proficient post-production editing skills using Adobe Premiere, Avid or other non-linear editing system -Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud programs particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Audition. -Script writing experience -Experience working on production shoots as a Production Assistant or other role -Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with internal and external clients, as well as team members -Excellent time management skills, ability to work well in a face-paced, deadline-driven environment -Ability to work as a contributing member of a highly creative team -Experience creating visually pleasing graphics/graphic design, preferred not required -Proficient in MS Office software including Excel, Word and Access -Valid Driver's license and good driving record About Cox Media Group Cox Media Group is an integrated broadcasting, publishing and digital media company.
