Due to tremendous growth, Express Employment is looking to HireaCrane Service Technician to join a growing team in the Detroit, Michigan area providing in house design, fabrication, and servicing custom, industry-leading cranes.
Pay based on experience, up to $35/hr with flexibility for candidates with prior crane service experience.
**Responsibilities:
**
- **Complete mechanical repairs and adjustments as needed.
**
- **Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery / overhead cranes as assigned.
**
- **Successfully troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
**
- **Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction.
**
- **Machine print reading (electrical & mechanical).
**
- **Able to complete equipment upgrades.
**
- **Able to complete service orders accurately.
**
**
**
**Education/Experience:
**
- **A valid driver’s license and good driving record
**
- **1+ year of crane repair experience
**
- **5+ years industrial maintenance experience.
**
- **High School diploma or equivalent.
**
- **Ability to read machine schematics and manuals.
**
- **Experience with mechanical systems.
**
- **Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
**
- **Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Apple phones.
**

- **Able to operate manlifts.
