    POSITION OVERVIEW

    We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks.

    Accounting Clerk responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and 5reconciling bank statements. You will also run accounting software programs (e.g. Sucessware21, Microsoft Suite, Service Titan) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts. A successful accounting clerk should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers.

    Providing accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department

    Typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records

    Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements

    RESPONSIBILITY

    Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department

    Enter vendor invoices in accounting system for payments ensuring correct approval, coding and matching

    Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements

    Checking for accuracy in reports, figures and postings

    Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records

    Provide assistance and support to company personnel

    Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws

    REQUIREMENTS

    Associate’s degree

    1-2 years previous bookkeeping experience preferred

    Proven accounting experience, preferable Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk

    Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures

    Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software

    Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports

    Excellent analytical, computational, and mathematical abilities

    Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

    High level of integrity and trustworthiness

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    COMPENSATION

    Depending on Experience $18-$23
