Pay: Base salary plus commission
Key Responsibilities:
Event Manager
Drive event promotion and sales, ensuring successful execution of events.
Collaborate with marketing to create compelling promotions and attract diverse clientele.
Plan, coordinate, and execute events, ranging from private parties to themed nights, ensuring a memorable experience for guests.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to tailor menus and beverage offerings for events.
Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics with attention to detail.
Create and manage event staff schedules, taking into consideration restaurant schedules and operations.
Assist in the hiring process, including interviewing and onboarding new team members.
Train and develop event staff to uphold Crash N Burn's service standards.
Eventually transition into a full-time Event Manager role as the events portfolio grows.
Floor Manager
Manage day-to-day operations on the restaurant floor, ensuring a vibrant and upbeat atmosphere.
Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver top-notch service.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to maintain efficiency and quality.
Handle customer inquiries and concerns with a positive and solutions-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in event management, with a focus on promotion and sales.
Enthusiastic and creative approach to event planning and floor management.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with guests and lead staff.
Flexibility to adapt to evolving situations and unexpected challenges.
Passion for creating unique and exciting experiences.
Knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, including point-of-sale systems.
Enthusiastic and creative mindset to contribute to the unique atmosphere of Crash N Burn.
Education: A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required.
