  • Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with Managing Director of CB2 to create and develop the marketing / creative vision for the CB2 brand.
    • Conceive and execute an integrated brand development and marketing communications strategy that drives traffic and sales across retail, direct, and eCommerce.
    • Partner with the Creative Director, as well as external agencies, to ensure creative execution supports strategies and protects the equity of CB2 brand.
    • Act as liaison for Marketing within the CB2 Leadership team, assisting in leading strategy and financial analysis, as needed.
    • Drive promotional strategy and calendar for the CB2 in partnership with the Vice President of Operations and Business Strategy.
    • Act as an advocate for all brand concepts for the company and maintain an awareness of the changing competitive, technological, retail and customer environment.
    • Provide direction and planning advice for all qualitative and quantitative research, as well as internal analytical support and business recommendations, based on findings and key consumer insights.
    • Utilize market data, consumer research and insights, and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and needs in the market that will promote sales and create new revenue streams.
    • Ensure that all brand and marketing plans are executed well and within budget.
    • Enable the overall Marketing Department to operate efficiently and effectively by reviewing and enhancing all marketing processes, measurements, information systems, and organizational design when necessary.
    • Ensure that all customer communication reflects the company’s core values, and supports the CB2 brand’s core positioning and the achievement of the company’s sales and strategic goals.
    • Manage all aspects of performance and development of direct reports to encourage professional growth, promoting a strong sense of teamwork, and culture of high performance.
    • Collaborate and influence members of leadership team by persuading them to accept a point of view; adopt a specific agenda or take a course of action through building consensus and cooperation across various stakeholders.


    Required Skills
    • This position requires a leader with an insatiable thirst for design and culture and can provide a strong appreciation for modern design to the CB2 Brand, while inspiring trust and respect through ethical and honest behavior; using ethical considerations to guide decisions; placing ethical behavior above personal gain; and maintaining confidentiality 
    • Minimum 15 years of relevant business experience as a senior marketer leading a consumer-driven organization
    • Experience managing effective marketing programs in a fast-paced, multi-channel retail environment 
    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; MBA preferred 
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills 
    • Strong organizational skills that support attention to details
    • Demonstration of strong leadership skills across various functions within the Brand Marketing function 
    • Experience fostering the learning and development of others with appropriate levels of needs analysis, coaching and support
    • Proven track record of strong listening skills, strong verbal skills and strong written skills to communicate effectively and efficiently 
    • Some travel expected
