    The Senior Proposal Writer is responsible for sales content development including writing, preparing, and editing proposals, RFx responses, PowerPoint sales presentations, and thought-leadership collateral designed to convey Cross Country’s standing as an industry leader and secure new business and expansion opportunities. As a “player-coach,” the Senior Proposal Writer manages a Writer responsible for industry research, thought-leadership articles, and RFx responses.

    This position requires a self-motivated, collaborative individual with excellent writing, leadership, time-management, and communication skills. The Senior Proposal Writer will collaborate with the Director of Sales Support Services, organizational stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop and write original content aligned to Cross Country Healthcare’s brand and individual pursuit strategies.

    The Senior Proposal Writer must be enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, nimble environment that stays ahead of industry trends to meet the needs of clients.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Consult with Sales and organization leadership to develop and implement pursuit material designed to drive new sales and program expansion. Establish course of action for efficient and effective completion of proposals
    • Project manage a streamlined process to develop quality proposals, qualification documents, presentations and other sales related collateral
    • Work directly with sales and stakeholders to co-develop pursuit strategy and content
    • Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals
    • Strict adherence to all RFx instructions when preparing proposals
    • Timely delivery of all internal deliverables and external deadlines related to proposals, RFx responses, sales presentations, and collateral
    • Build relationships with organizational stakeholders and subject matter experts necessary to produce successful sales content
    • Research as needed to develop relevant responses
    • Present and share knowledge from learning events and other means of staying current with industry developments and trends
    • Identify and leverage best practice

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Planning, time management and organizational skills
    • Strong working knowledge of a professional services organization
    • Executive presence, strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others
    • Experience with account management or working in a Business Development organization
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • 7 years’ proposal writing experience.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS-Office suite
    • Experience with RFP development applications and content repositories (Qvidian, Loopio, etc.),
    • Client Relationship Management applications/platforms (SalesForce.com™ or others),
    • Sourcing platforms (Ariba, Keelvar, BidSync, etc.)
    • Workforce Solutions, MSP, RPO experience mandatory 
    • Healthcare industry experience a plus
    • Graphic Design skills a plus
