Craters & Freighters is a pioneer and leading expert in specialty packaging, crating, and shipping. Founded in 1990, we serve residential and business customers in all sectors including telecommunications, electronics, medical equipment, aerospace, biotechnology, and heavy machinery.

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle customer inquiries and requests for quotes
• Prepare quotes for crating, packing and shipping services requested.
• Setup domestic and international shipping when jobs are completed.
• Follow up with freight tracking, emailed quotes, payments, and completed jobs.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure timely flow of jobs.
• Keep up with ever changing job deadlines.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong math skills are a must
• Time Management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Independent-Problem solving / analytical skills.
• Self-starter, detail oriented and able to do multiple tasks at once.
• 2-3 years prior customer service experience required
• Excellent telephone skills
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
