Job Description

Our client is a Service-Disabled, Veteran Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB)  that specializes in Government and Department of Defense technical strategy and operations management. They are actively interviewing Accounting Operations Analysts to provide accurate data based information on organizations financial status pertaining to commitments, obligations, expenses and disbursements pertaining to various DOD Appropriations in Falls Church, VA.  Below is additional information. • Consolidate and analyze financial/accounting data (budgets, fund status reports, expenditure reports and audit statements, or key supporting documentation) ensuring organization obtain clean audit observations and ultimately opinions.
• Assemble and summarize data (lines of accounting, WBS, cost reports, AXOL, DTS, DAI, DMLLS, etc.) to structure sophisticated ad-hoc reports pertaining to financial status and risks 
• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
• Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models 
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data (ULOs, UMTs, UMDs, UDO, UFCO, Accounts Receivable, etc.)
• Gain and update job knowledge pertaining to the propriety of various financial transactions (i.e. Purchase Requisitions/PR/ME51N), MIPR, Reimbursable Work Orders, Sales Orders/VA02, CJ20N,  etc.)

Qualifications: 

• Secret clearance required.
• Demonstrated/Proven working experience as a Financial Analyst.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
• Strong analytical skills using ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc) or sub-systems (DAI, GFEBS, GCSS-A, etc.).
• Experience with DOD Accounting within the MHS is highly recommended. Experience with DAI is a plus.
