    Job Description:

    The main role of the Construction Crew Lead is to oversee and perform repair work scheduled by our team. The Crew Lead is responsible for leading a team (or teams) of repair persons, providing exceptional service and an exceptional product to our customers. Our Crew Lead is our repair expert in moisture remediation, carpentry, and foundation work and leaned on heavily as such by our team(s).

    What We Offer:

    Competitive Pay: Starting wage $17-28/hour, depending on experience.

    What You’ll Do:

    Be proficient in completing and overseeing all repairs required with a two- or three-person crew.

    Be able to troubleshoot issues as they arise and communicate with Operations Manager as changes arise.

    Manage jobsite: safe and efficient workflow, quality, timeliness, materials purchase, work folder, professional communication with customers and office staff.

    Manage tools on-site for each job, making sure the tools needed are on site when they are needed, to ensure workflow efficiency. Be proactive in cutting down additional trips for supplies by planning ahead.

    Follow instructions from management as assigned, giving daily updates to the management team on job status and communicating with Operations on inventory needs, including supplies for upcoming jobs as well as stocked items.

    Schedule time for maintenance for tools, equipment, and vehicles.

    Who We’re Looking For:

    The ideal candidate is someone who ...

    Has previous experience (preferably 5+ years) with construction and repair, most notably repairs in the crawl space, including structural repair (sills, girders, joists, subfloors, piers) and moisture remediation (interior french drains, moisture barriers, dehumidification systems).

    Is able to manage crew members to perform necessary repairs for structural or moisture remediation.

    Has a valid Driver’s License, is able to pass a DMV license check, and has reliable transportation to and from work

    Has a strong desire to reach and exceed set goals in all areas of the job.

    Has excellent people skills, and is professional in their interactions with both Customers (homeowners / B2B) and Coworkers.

    Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly.
