    Requisition Number 18-0033 Title HR Intern Location US-WA-Seattle Position Type Intern Description Job Summary: Cray Inc. offers a limited number of internship positions targeted at the best and brightest students. This internship position is available full-time during the Summer with potential part-time hours during the Fall semester. This position is located at our Corporate office in Seattle, WA. The HR intern will be working closely with the Human Resources team to perform a wide variety of HR duties to support all functional areas within the department.  This includes, but is not limited to, compensation, benefits, onboarding, policy review, data analysis, internal website recommendations, compliance requirements, etc. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:   Review HR policy framework and employment legislation Recommend policy updates or additions to ensure compliance with employment, benefits, workplace health and safety, and other related legislation Audit labor posters and ensure compliance Review and make recommendations to update employee handbook Partner with compensation manager to create and review job descriptions, update job table, etc. Partner with benefits manager to coordinate benefits events, i.e., biometric screening, wellness initiatives, wealth management sessions Conduct research and analyze data for assigned projects Create and maintain employee and recruitment files Perform other HR-related duties, as required Requirements Required Minimum Education and/or Experience: Junior or senior in business administration, human resources or a related field.  Strong MS Office skills are required (particularly Excel) Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Capabile of maintaining strict confidentiality Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong work ethic Team player  Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities SharePoint experience helpful Cray Inc. is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity employer.
