We’re Hiring:

Entry-Level Early Childhood Educator – $18/hour
Location: Jamaica, Queens, NY

Two Main Shifts Available (Choose One):

• 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
• 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Monday–Friday)

Please note: These are set shifts. Availability is required for all 5 weekdays (Mon–Fri).

Saturday Bonus Availability

We are also open on some Saturdays.
If you're available occasionally for weekend shifts, that’s a plus (not required). Saturday shifts are optional and scheduled as needed:

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Greet scholars and families warmly each day
• Maintain a clean, safe, and joyful classroom environment
• Follow structured daily routines and classroom checklists
• Use a classroom tablet to complete attendance, meals, learning logs, and hourly updates to families
• Support scholars through transitions: meals, toileting/diapering, nap, and learning activities
• Assist with lesson planning, arts & crafts, and themed projects
• Complete monthly classroom door decorations and prepare for school events
• Follow a detailed cleaning checklist to help keep the classroom spotless
• Attend staff meetings and participate in team planning and training
• Contribute to events like graduation, scholar prom, and seasonal celebrations

We’re Looking for Team Members Who:

• Are fully available Monday through Friday for their assigned shift
• Can report to work on time daily and are dependable
• Are organized, positive, and excited to work in a structured, fast-paced environment
• Are creative, love decorating, and enjoy bringing theme days, scholar celebrations, and classroom décor to life
• Embrace teamwork, cleanliness, and high expectations
• Are collaborative and take initiative in shared responsibilities
• Understand that this role includes active supervision, hands-on learning, and classroom engagement
• Are open to feedback and eager to grow within our 5-Level Staff Growth Track
• Are comfortable using a tablet for documentation, checklists, and hourly updates
• Communicate kindly and professionally with both families and co-workers

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be available Monday–Friday for the full duration of the shift
• CPR & First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire
• Calls only (no texting) — staff or applicant questions must be made between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

Salary Transparency
