The Tax Manager position is newly created due to the companies recent growth, and our client is looking to move fast for the right candidate!

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TAX MANAGER:

• Preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, non-profit, fiduciary, individual and various other tax return.
• Conducting complex tax research projects for individuals and clients in diverse industries.
• Managing a book of business and/or participating in marketing-related activities.
• Ensuring complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations and meeting deadlines.
• Managing, developing, training, and mentoring staff, including performance and engagement reviews.
• Attending professional development and continuing education sessions on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TAX MANAGER:

• Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research.
• Experience using Ultra-Tax software a plus.
• Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically.
• Outstanding leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills fostering client and internal relationships.
• 5+ years tax experience required in a CPA firm setting.
• CPA Certification required.
