ACCOUNTANT - Part time

About the Company

This excellent locally, family owned company has been around for 70 years, focusing on manufacturing and distribution services worldwide. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to make a difference and grow within a company. They offer health benefits, PTO, ongoing training and a flexible schedule. They are looking to add an accounting professional to their team, about 30 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data
• Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
• Record Financial transactions on the General Ledger
• Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on a monthly and as needed basis
• Communicates directly with clients via phone, email, and video chat software
• Proactively addressing and responding to potential issues

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an Accountant role
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
