About the Company and Human Resources Certification Analyst Opportunity:
- Our repeat client, a big name in the local education industry, is looking for a contractual Human Resources Certification Analyst to assist during a system implementation.
- This candidate will work in the certification department within Human Resources and report to the Certification Manager
- This is a temporary position 100% in office in Towson, MD
- This position is expected to go through January 2025
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am-4pm, 24 hour work week
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Certification Analyst:
- Review, analyze, process and authorize Code of Maryland Regulations and other regulations regarding certifications
- Evaluate the credentials of personnel as they relate to the issuance, renewal, and authorization of Maryland certificates
- Maintain certification and license information in HR systems. Monitors the certification status of assigned certificated employee group
- Conduct individual conferences and group workshops to employees and candidates regarding state of Maryland certification regulations and policies, Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requirements, professional growth, and related matters
- Research and approve individual courses to meet Department of Education certification requirements
- Provide guidance to Human Resources Officers regarding certification status and needs of new hires
- Prepare written reports, presentations, and recommendations on variety of employment matters
- Represent the organization at job fairs, new employee orientations, and other system-wide departmental meetings
- Oversee, lead, and coordinate the work of administrative support staff in the office
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements for the Human Resources Certification Analyst:
- 3+ years of HR and admin experience required
- Bachelors degree in related field required
- Knowledge of Code of Maryland Regulations highly preferred
- Possession of or ability to obtain a Certification Authorized Partner (CAP) issued by the Maryland State Department of Education is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting
