PLANT ACCOUNTANT

Be the next Plant Accountant with a local, rapidly growing manufacturing company in Fort Wayne, IN. This is an excellent opportunity to be managed by the Corporate Accountant and have high exposure to company executives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PLANT ACCOUNTANT –

·         Monthly inventory accounting and cycle counts

·         GL Accounting, month else close and journal entries

·         Develop and analyze reports on operational metrics and financial reports

·         Cost accounting and analysis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS –

·         2 plus years of experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment

·         Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

·         Experience with standard costing, inventory, month end close and journal entries

SOFT SKILLS –

Looking for a hard worker who is very team oriented and desire to help drive a company forward. Must have the ability to have fun at work but also understands professionalism!
