    Job Description

    CFS has been retained by a professional association which represents So Cal's middle market private equity firms, investment banks, law firms, accounting firms, and consultancies. The sitting CEO is looking to make their first in-house fire, in seeking to identify an experienced and motivated Membership, Events & Office Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain the confidence and trust of the Executive Director, Global headquarters staff, members and volunteer leaders. Other essential qualifications are listed below:

    • At least 2 years prior experience with an Association Management System (AMS). Preferred experience with Abila’s netForum Enterprise or comparable system (iMIS, Personify/TIMMS, Aptify, etc.).
    • Previous experience at an association, nonprofit, or membership-based company preferred.
    • Experience with website content management systems.
    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Prior experience with an email broadcast system such as RealMagnet, Constant Contact, or iContact.

    ​MEMBERSHIP:

    • Work with the CEO and Committee chairs to achieve annual membership goals and objectives.
    • Manage association database (currently netForum) to ensure record consistency, accurate updates, proper and valid changes to all records.
    • Responsible for all membership-related activities and projects.
    • Generate monthly and year-end membership reports and provide trends analysis to aid in planning and analysis of membership development.
    • Provide and ensure high quality service to members (in-person, telephone, and email).

    EVENTS:

    • Assist in the management of event and marketing calendar for ~30 events/year ranging in size from 30 to 350 people
    • Collaborate with the CEO, Board of Directors and Program Committee to coordinate speakers and panel prep calls
    • Liaise with event sponsors and help coordinate sponsor package benefits
    • Schedule and attend site visits
    • Coordinate event details including timeline, setup, catering, A/V, materials, ROS
    • Provide onsite setup, registration desk management, serve as onsite contact for speakers and sponsors
    • Manage weekly email distributions to promote upcoming events and chapter news
    • Maintain the website and help with social media accounts
