 ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST   

• Process high volume invoices and receipts
• Reconcile monthly bank statements
• Wire transfers and cash reconciliations
• Remit payments for balances and reconciles credit card accounts
• Prepare monthly expense, weekly expenditures, and committed funds reports
• Support budget activities as directed by manager
• Reviews, final approves, and submits expense reports to payroll according to expense policy rules
• Codes and approves invoices
• Balances A/P register to general ledger
• Processes weekly check runs
• Creates new vendors
• Reconciles vendor statements

BACKGROUND PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ROLE  

• Full cycle Accounts payable experience
• 3 way match process with purchase orders
• Construction experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft excel – pivot tables, basic formula’s, etc.
• 3 + years of related experience required
