Job Description

Our client is a leading Construction firm located in West-Central Houston. Due to growth, the Assistant Controller position is open. This role will report directly to the Controller and will manage three direct reports.

Role of the Assistant Controller

• Leads analysis, forecasting, financial statement reviews
• Meets frequently with operations, presidents and owners
• Develop, lead and train staff (3 currently)
• Reviews new projects, bids and other ad-hoc projects
• Oversight of Month End close, intermittent reporting

Expectations for the Assistant Controller

• Accounting or Finance degree
• 6+ years accounting experience
• Prefers Public Accounting experience (audit), but not required
