Join a growing, fast-paced non-profit organization with a tenured team that gives back to the community every day! Our client is looking to add a sharp Payroll Specialist to their team. The Payroll Specialist will report to the Finance Manager and work with a team of two other payroll specialists. Payroll Specialist Duties:

• full cycle payroll for 500-600 employees in Sage HRMS software
• process new hires, changes, terminations, garnishments, 401k, benefits, direct deposits, W-4s, etc.
• federal, state and local tax preparation
• reconciliations and payroll journal entries
• other payroll duties as needed Payroll Specialist Skills and Experience:
• 3+ years of payroll experience
• proficient with MS Excel
• any experience with Sage HRMS and/or Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus! Hours for the Payroll Specialist role are Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 in a business-casual environment The Payroll Specialist role is on-site in Lakewood. Potential to work from home 1 day/week once trained. Local Payroll Specialist candidates only. Payroll Specialist candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check.
