Job Description
Creative Floors, Inc is seeking a full time Order Entry & Purchasing specialist to join our team. We have been in business for over 25 years with sales exceeding $16 million last year!
Job Responsibilities:
Order Entry
- Responsible for efficiently processing all data entry with a high-level of accuracy (new order, change order, expedite product availability);
- Utilize B2B for order processing;
- Telephone skills in placing, receiving and following up on order status;
- Multi-channel support using platforms such as phone, email, and chat;
- Working with the outside sales team;
- Document and update customer file based on sales information.
Purchasing/Procurement
- Generate Purchase Orders from daily order entry;
- Confirm accurate purchase price of material;
- Submit purchase order to vendor via B2B or online ordering;
- Record purchase order reference number and delivery information in the operating system;
- Following up on orders and delivery information until purchase order has been satisfied;
- Keep all system data current and accurate.

Education and Experience
- HS Diploma or GED required, college degree preferred;
- RFMS Operating System knowledge is a plus;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Must be detail oriented; ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment; team player;
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Work Environment
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Position will require participation in yearly physical inventory count (which includes 1 Saturday).
