    Creative Label is looking for a talented Sr. Public Relations Associate for our digital consulting agency to work in our fun, fast-paced (currently work from home because of COVID) environment.

    The Sr. Public Relations Associate is primarily responsible for supporting the PR team on the development and execution of press campaigns for Creative Label and its clients.

    For this position, we expect you to help create, write and implement strategic public relations tactics and communications plans to support our clients’ business objectives. This position has a primary emphasis on media relations and reputation management. This role is responsible for planning, writing and editing communications for external audiences for a full-range of channels, including print and digital. The public relations specialist will also participate in a variety of special projects.

    This role is work-from-home. You must also have a reliable laptop computer as we will not provide one.

    This is a FULL-TIME position, working side-by-side with the Public Relations team.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Responsible for planning and participating in the creative direction of projects for Creative Label and its clients. Projects include–but are not limited to the following:

    • Working closely with the PR Manager/Marketing team, as well as contractors, the design team, and interns, to execute the overarching press campaigns for Creative Label and its clients.
    • Generating communications timelines to meet editorial/announcement deadlines
    • Conducting past coverage research to inform media strategy
    • Developing detailed story inventories that outline press targets and story angles
    • Pitching and conducting follow-up outreach to secure thoughtful, in-depth coverage
    • Coordinating press previews/events and secure strong attendance
    • Supporting PR department on messaging, sales reporting, and outreach
    • Contributing towards material development and announcement roll-out/distribution, including reviewing and providing feedback on press materials, distribution pitches, and press lists
    • Actively developing strong relationships with press contacts and leveraging those relationships to benefit Creative Label’s visibility
    • Maintaining a strong awareness of the latest news and emerging trends in digital trends in media
    • Fielding media requests in a timely manner, including fact-checking, servicing images, arranging interviews and developing interview briefing documents
    • Tracking and reporting Creative Label’s coverage to clients, and developing press campaign reports and best practices

    Requirements:

    • Must be able to pass a background check
    • Proven work experience in public relations
    • Excellent with collaboration, time management and team management
    • Strong sense of ownership/leadership, and follow-through
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
    • Ability to manage, prioritize and multi-task multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
    • Goal-oriented
    • Experience in marketing, journalism, communications, advertising or related field
    • Experience working with email / digital communication tools
    • Has strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, while coordinating multiple projects within the assigned deadlines
    • Display excellent professional and interpersonal skills
