  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a highly organized, Administrative/Project Coordinator guru who will support our dealer inbound network business/ Steelcase workplace services orders and support 2 Strategic Account Managers.

    Some of the key responsibilities of this essential position are:

    • Work closely with Project Manager in developing and maintaining a project schedule outlining deadlines for receiving, deliveries and installation
    • Monitor shipping schedules, customer timelines and soft schedules installations/deliveries with the scheduling coordinator (when No PM assigned)
    • Work closely with Project Manager in coordinating with outside contractors (i.e.: telephone, cable, electricians) and communicate out all critical information and/or potential issues
    • Ensure all network orders are invoiced within 24 hours from job completion
    • Monitor product return from network installation and quote storage when applicable, working closely with warehouse manager in both locations
    • Managing all aspects of customer service coordination from project initiation through satisfactory delivery.
    • Secondary "Point of Contact" during and after close of sale
    • Clear understanding of the Scope of Work
    • Obtaining price quotation for product, freight, COM fabric etc. from Vendors
    • Ensure accuracy of pricing, contract terms and other information
    • Provide quotes to customers, assist with bid pricing, expediting orders
    • On-going communication with client on: order status / updates / delivery / scheduling of product
    • Schedule orders when a Project Manager has not been assigned

    Education and / or Experience: Minimum 3-5 years' in project coordination, purchasing, administrative sales support experience. Furniture industry experience preferred. Computer Skills: Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
