Position: Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC)

Location: Bay Shore, NY & Work from Home - Hybrid format

Job Type: Full Time & Part Time Available

Salary/Hourly Rate: $60,000-$90,000 (plus bonus)

Position Summary:

We are seeking bright, compassionate, and inspiring Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) to provide individual therapy. The ideal candidate is warm, skilled, and passionate about supporting clients through addition and intro recovery to help them achieve their greatest potential. We are looking for a candidate who is able to work from our Bay Shore, NY office at least one day per week.

Key responsibilities:

Provide counseling to individuals.

Conduct intake assessments and collaboratively develop treatment plans aligned with clients’ goals.

Maintain accurate, timely, and ethical clinical documentation, maintaining HIPAA compliance in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health

Attend occasional staff meetings

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in social work, mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy.

Active LMFT, LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW license in the state of New York. We accept limited permit clinicians.

Must be a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor in the state of New York.

Must have previous experience as a CASAC.
