About the Role:
MedPOINT Management in Sherman Oaks, CA is looking for a detail-oriented Credentialing Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team. Responsibilities:
Enter and maintain accurate provider credentialing data into internal systems and databases
Process and verify credentialing applications, licenses, and certifications for healthcare providers
Audit and update existing provider records to ensure data integrity and compliance
Coordinate with credentialing specialists to track application statuses and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and organize credentialing files and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Respond to internal inquiries regarding provider data and credentialing records
Support the credentialing team with administrative tasks and reporting as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
Prior experience in data entry, credentialing, or healthcare administration strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry
Familiarity with NCQA, URAC, or other credentialing compliance standards is a plus
Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
