Job Description
Job Summary
This position is responsible for analyzing financial information, reviewing loan structure, and evaluating risk ratings for commercial loans. This includes completing financial spreads, writing credit memos, and ensuring compliance with bank policy. The individual works closely with commercial loan officers and reports to the Chief Credit Officer.
Job Duties
Gathers and analyzes financial information to perform credit analysis on new and renewing commercial loans.
Works with Credit Administration Team to obtain knowledge regarding loan structuring, cash flow, and other analytical skills to ensure compliance with bank policy.
Completes underwriting for renewals and new loan requests and recommends risk ratings based on financial analysis.
Prepares written memos of financial analysis to summarize credit risk and loan structure
Trains to acquire knowledge regarding Deeds of Trust, Security Agreements, lien positions, etc.
Assists in tracking and testing all loan covenants, including borrowing base certificates and line availability.
Works with Commercial Loan Officers to ensure excellent customer service.
Assists in tracking of financial information, collateral monitoring, and other duties as assigned.
Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or five years of related work experience.
Works well in a team setting, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
