We are seeking a Lending and Collections Manager to play a critical role in guiding our team's through an overhaul of what we do and how we do it. This essential role will plan and direct the company's overall loan processing and collections activities in accordance with established objectives and philosophies. This position reports to a member of our Senior Leadership Team, and will oversee all aspects of the company's Collections and Centralized Loan Processing Departments while assisting Underwriting Department. This position will work with their direct reports to drive industry best-practices and measurable goals and initiatives into the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Manages loan processing, servicing, lending and collection platforms and streamlined internal and external workflows
• Governance over perfecting titles/deeds, insurance, and loan delinquency / charge-off / recovery.
• Develops and implements best-practices and procedures within Lending and Collection departments in order to exceed the credit union's goals
• Creates and maintains reporting metrics that gauge departmental efficiencies
• Serves as a vendor-manager for a number of key credit union partners
• Assists in developing policy and procedure manuals and makes recommendations regarding current internal guidelines
• Responsible for managing, coordinating and monitoring the day-to-day operations of the Collections Department activities
