If you enjoy focusing on details, analyzing information, and problem-solving, CreditVest has a place for you. You will be responsible for analyzing existing multifamily loan portfolio underwritings for accuracy and adherence to required guidelines. In this role, you will be involved in reviewing and analyzing data including financial information, loan underwritings, appraisals, engineering and environmental reports, market data, loan terms, and Borrower/Sponsor information. You will determine if sound underwriting practices were utilized as you look at properties located across the country and underwritten by a variety of lenders. This job provides the opportunity to look at both the details and the big picture of a transaction.

This position has a flexible schedule with both in-office and remote working each week.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial real estate lending/finance. Underwriting background preferred. Multi-Family agency underwriting experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Major in real estate, finance, accounting, mathematics, or business preferred.
• Strong computer knowledge and skills, including Excel
• Pride in accuracy and fastidious attention to detail
• Ability to conduct credit and risk analyses by examining, assessing, and analyzing financial data
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and form conclusions
• Organized self-starter able to work in a dynamic environment with limited oversight
• Ability to meet deadlines and promptly respond to requests
• Comfortable working in teams or individually
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to examine detailed information and tailor analysis and comments to specific audiences
• Background check will be required
