Responsibilities include conducting psychological examinations and testing, as well as diagnosing and recommending treatment for patients with neurodevelopmental and other mental health issues. You'll be working with a specialty assessment team to coordinate and collaborate on client care. Our ideal candidate holds a doctorate in psychology, is interested in the client population that we serve, and is Licensed as a Psychologist, or ready to complete the required supervised hours for licensure. Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills are necessary. If this describes you, and you have a keen interest in psychological testing and assessment, please apply. This position will enable you to develop a specialized niche in private practice or to consolidate your training in assessment skills. This is a wonderful position for a psychologist interested in specializing in Autism with either children or adults. We will assist you in being successful in gaining the experience and confidence for independent practice. Responsibilities: • Providing psychological evaluations to a customized clientele. The type of cases to be assigned will be dependent on your training and interest (e.g. children, adolescents, and/or adults). • You will collect client data through a records review, clinical interviews, collateral information gathering, behavioral observation, and testing. • You will be required to utilize online scoring platforms, analyze test results and write up evaluation reports for complete cases. • You may also assist another psychologist with certain testing measures. You may collaborate with other providers in the community or refer patients and family members to community resources, or to specialists in the area.
