    Job Description

    Crescent Canna is a fast-growing CBD company with our production lab in Charlotte, NC and our marketing and sales teams based in New Orleans, LA. Our mission is to provide high-purity cannabidiol (CBD) products at affordable prices, while maintaining the highest quality standards for ingredients and production. We manufacture more than 40 CBD products -- including CBD topicals, gummies, vape cartridges, pet products, and the highest-potency CBD oil available on the market -- and will be launching three new product lines in early 2021.

    We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to help manage and grow marketing channels including the website, search, email, social media, display/native advertising, influencer partnerships, and more. While this role will primarily focus on digital marketing to drive website traffic and e-commerce sales, it will also support the CMO and coordinate on traditional/offline marketing projects as needed.

    The Digital Marketing Manager will have the flexibility to work remotely, but will be expected to attend in-person meetings and work from our New Orleans office on collaborative projects as needed. In normal times, this is not a remote position. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for a wide range of marketing activities, including:

    • Managing email marketing campaigns, flows, lists/segments, A/B testing, and deliverability testing
    • Conducting keyword and competitive research to help guide product development, marketing, SEO, and content campaigns
    • Making product and page optimizations to improve rankings and performance for target keywords
    • Crafting and editing engaging copy for emails, press releases, social media, ads, and more
    • Planning, prospecting, and outreach for link building and PR campaigns
    • Assisting with native, display, and retargeting ad campaigns
    • Using analytics to assess performance, make strategic improvements, and find opportunities to drive visibility, traffic, and sales
    • Coordinating with designers, developers, and other partners on digital marketing and website projects
    • Coordinating on event sponsorships, direct mail, and other offline marketing projects

    Qualifications include:

    • At least 3 years of digital marketing experience at an agency or in-house marketing team
    • Strong writing ability, with experience crafting compelling content for email, social, or other online channels
    • Highly organized with an ability to manage resources and budgets
    • Experience using Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, or other SEO and keyword research tools. E-commerce SEO experience is a huge plus.
    • Experience using Klaviyo or other email marketing tools for executing and testing email campaigns
    • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools to provide actionable insight
    • Experience using WordPress for basic website updates and on-page optimizations (no coding)

    This is a full-time position based out of our New Orleans office with remote work flexibility. Base compensation is $42,000 to $55,000 depending on experience.
