    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our Crestview Baptist Church team. The Financial Administrator will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing administrative support to the finance office. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

    _ Responsibilities:_

    • Work with the Executive Pastor, Treasurer and Finance Team to effectively manage church finances.

    • Process accounting entries, reconciliations, account analyses, financials

    • Budget Planning support and worksheets for Staff and Finance Team

    • Support ministry leaders with financial information

    • Generate and distribute quarterly/annual Contribution Statements and assist with donor inquiries

    • Facilitate accounts payable processing, annual Form 1099 reporting and respond to vendor inquiries

    • Supervise Finance Office Assistant and volunteers

    • Process new hires/exiting employees and employee changes including benefits as applicable

    • Work with staff concerning MinistrySafe Training and background checks

    • Payroll processing and payroll tax reporting

    • Work with Executive Pastor concerning insurance renewals and related processing of claims, if needed

    • Prepare annual Workmans’ Comp Audit

    • Maintain Benevolence files and assist with processing requests as needed

    • Support Executive Pastor with other tasks as requested related to above categorie

    _ Requirements:_

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

    • Proven experience in financial administration (non-profit experience preferred)

    • Experience in non-profit accounting (preferred)

    • Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices

    • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)

    • Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail

    • Strong organizational and time management abilities

    • Ability to work independently and with teams to meet deadlines

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Pay: $4,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month
