Shift Supervisor Role

Our Shift Supervisors support the Store Manager, open and close the restaurant, train new team members, and—most importantly—take a personal stake in ensuring every guest returns for “The Goodcents Experience.”

What Makes an Exceptional Shift Supervisor?

• Mastery of Crew Member, Slice Master, Bread Master, and Certified Trainer responsibilities

• Ability to lead and inspire the team daily

• Commitment to our "Open to Close, Close to Open" philosophy

• Strong attention to profitability, cost management, and guest satisfaction

• Energetic, positive approach to managing shifts

• Accurate preparation and adjustment of food build-to charts

• Effective direction and problem-solving under pressure

• Knowledge and enforcement of safety, sanitation, labor, and administrative regulations

• Responsibility for managing inventories, orders, scheduling, payroll, and sales reporting (level-specific duties)

• Enthusiasm for community involvement and local store marketing initiatives

Team Member Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• No prior experience necessary—training provided!

• Physical capability to stand, bend, walk, twist repetitively, and lift (up to 40 lbs occasionally)

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance

• Completion and approval of a background check required for entry into the Management Training Program
