    Attn: Store aiming to open beginning of December. There will be a week of required training prior to opening

    Summary: The Cheba Hut Crew Member is responsible for crafting great food, providing positive interactions, taking pride in their work, and supporting standard operating procedures at the shop level. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, prioritize tasks, work in a diverse and collaborative environment, and maintain a positive attitude.

    The Crew Member will report to the General Manager with accountability to the Assistant General Manager (if applicable).

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Engage Customers with Authentic Interactions

    Uphold Product Quality Standards and Abide by Cheba Hut Standard Operating Procedures

    Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment for Customers and Crew

    Dishwashing throughout your shift

    Strive to go above and beyond customers’ expectations

    Maintain an “interaction over the transaction” mindset

    Engage customers in genuine interactions at every opportunity (register, line, lobby, etc.)

    Have a working knowledge of our products and Cheba Hut history

    Provide answers to customer questions and make personal recommendations for menu items

    Accept payments and handle cash on behalf of Cheba Hut per cash handling procedures

    Stay up to date with standard operating procedures

    Practice F.I.F.O. to ensure our products are fresh and complete prep in a timely manner

    Practice correct labeling procedures and verify products are within the shelf life date

    Utilize recipe cards and follow all steps correctly

    Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation

    Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment for Customers and Crew

    Always keep your head on a swivel – high level awareness of surroundings

    Must have completed Cheba Hut Food Safety and Prevention Training

    Keep customer service areas clean and sanitized

    Maintain cleanliness in BOH

    Perform opening, closing, and shift change duties per standard operating procedures

    Clean as you go – never leave a mess after a project is completed

    Understand how to properly clean and sanitize surfaces

    Abide by shop specific employee health and safety policies

    Communicate and complete incident reports, when necessary, in a timely manner

    Working Conditions:

    Ability to lift 47lbs

    Stamina to work an 8 -hour shift

    Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day

    Ability to work under mentally and physically stressful situations

    Ability to work in team environment with high levels of collaboration

    Ability to handle a variety of foods including meat, cheese, breads, sauces, and vegetables

    Overtime may be required

    Must be comfortable with marijuana themed culture
