Job Summary We’re looking for reliable, hardworking team members to join our growing parking lot striping company serving Allentown and the surrounding Lehigh Valley. This is a flexible, seasonal position starting part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the season progresses. We are especially interested in identifying dependable individuals who may develop into future crew leaders as our business grows. Most work takes place evenings and nights when parking lots are empty. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a small team, and seeing the results of your work immediately, this is a great opportunity.

No striping experience required — paid on-the-job training provided. We’re looking for people who are dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to work hard as part of a team.

Essential Job Duties

Crew members assist with parking lot striping and pavement marking projects by:

Operating striping equipment and assisting with layout of parking lot lines and markings

Loading and preparing trucks, paint, and materials before jobs

Filling paint machines and assisting with stencil work (handicap symbols, arrows, numbers, etc.)

Preparing surfaces and cleaning work areas during and after projects

Cleaning and maintaining striping equipment and tools

Tracking materials such as paint, chalk, and stencils

Following all company and OSHA safety procedures

Assisting the Crew Leader with layout and site setup

Supporting team members to complete jobs efficiently and safely

Work Environment

This position involves outdoor work at commercial properties and parking lots throughout Allentown and the surrounding Lehigh Valley.

Employees may be exposed to:

Outdoor weather conditions

Paint fumes and airborne particles

Moving mechanical equipment

Evening and nighttime work conditions

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active job.

Crew members must be able to:

Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods

Lift or move materials up to 60 pounds

Push equipment up to 300+ pounds with assistance

Work on their feet for several hours at a time

Position Type & Schedule

This is a seasonal flexible position with the opportunity to grow into full-time work.

Typical season: April through November

Expected hours:

Early season: 15–30 hours per week

Peak season: 30–40 hours per week available

Typical work schedule:

Evening and night shifts (most work occurs when parking lots are empty)

Some weekend availability required--During peak season weekend work will be required as job duties demand with overtime options

Typical days and hours of work are Sunday through Saturday, 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

Schedules are flexible and posted in advance whenever possible. Reports to Crew Leader on Duty.

Travel

Work takes place throughout Allentown, the Lehigh Valley, and nearby surrounding areas. Transportation to job sites may be provided depending on the project.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid driver’s license preferred

Reliable transportation to meet crew at designated locations

Ability to work nights and some weekends

Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

Landscaping, construction, paving, or outdoor labor

Seasonal or physical work environments

Experience operating equipment or tools

Interest in growing into a crew leader role
