Reports to: general manager

Job Overview: the OODAZU crew member is responsible for the well-being of the children who come to play at our facility. They will play with the kids, ensure they are safely attached to the auto-belays while enjoying climbing equipment, help with snacks / crafts, clean-up, help with parties, etc. Our crew members are the face of OODAZU and interact with kids and parents on a daily basis. We are all here to have fun while keeping safety as the number one priority.

Qualifications: 15 years or older. Experience with children a plus but not required

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Playing with the kids in the play area, ensuring their safety at all times

Aiding children in putting on their harnesses and attaching them to auto-belays

Gathering and providing snacks to the kids

Setting-up and aiding children with crafts during craft-time, if applicable

Aiding children who need help to go to the bathroom (diaper changes not required – all kids are required to be potty trained unless a parent is present)

Setting-up for parties with balloons, decorations, plates/napkins/paper products, etc.

Serving food to kids at parties and camp

Aiding in carpool drop-off and pick-up when needed or applicable

Restocking the retail section, when needed

Cleaning facilities and equipment after activities

Blowing up balloons for balloon orders or parties

Other duties as required
