Crews Chemicals is located in Rome, GA. We manufacture industrial cleaning chemicals, specifically for the Pulp & Paper Industry, as well as provide the service to clean the paper machines and paper machine room.

We have been doing work in Pulp & Paper for 30 years and are looking to grow our team in the Southeastern US. We perform daily and outage-based cleaning for our customers.

We have a Full-Time position available for a motivated, self-driven individual acting as an Account Manager in Jackson, AL. This person would report directly to the President. This person would be responsible for handling chemicals (degreasers, caustics, and acids), assisting in chemical cleaning, building and managing a crew of 4-8 people, and ensuring the customer’s needs are met while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Lodging and food while traveling will be covered.

Other requirements:

• Experience working in a paper mill is not required but a big plus.

• Must be able to travel to Michigan or the Southeast as needed to assist in our other accounts. Should be sporadic travel to these locations, travel for annual outages would be required.

• Note: travel could fall on the weekend in some situations. If personal vehicle is used, mileage will be reimbursed at IRS rate.

• Willing to work hard and get hands dirty.

• Open and willing to take direction and instruction to learn our business and how we operate

• Must follow specific safety protocols with regards to Personal Protective Equipment, mill site safety, chemical handling safety, etc.

• Mechanically inclined – able to repair pumps, hoses, and other equipment.

• Able to lift up to 100 lbs.

• Honest, hard worker

• Able to have conversations with customers to determine schedules, needs, opportunities, concerns, etc.

• Very professional and organized.

• Drug free – note that drug test will occur upon hiring, and could occur randomly during employment
