To help us drive excellence, as Crib Attendant , you’ll get to:
· Stock and maintain all inventory within the crib as well as all lubricants, gases, cleaning, and safety supplies.
· Issues tools, equipment, and build material to workers and maintains records of tools, equipment, and build material issued and returned.
· Issues commercial parts to jobs/ops as required by BOM, deliver machined and or purchased items to tooling as required.
· Locates lost or misplaced tools, equipment, and build material.
· Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools, equipment, copper, and build material by performing scheduled cycle counts by value/volume.
· Put away and or store incoming tools, equipment, copper, build material in designated locations,
· Determine re-order points (min/max levels), requisitions stock to replenish inventory in crib.
· Assigns/creates new locations as needed in crib and or WIP/READY storage areas.
· Inspects and measures tools, equipment, and build material for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
· Monitor all scrap hauling activity and operate truck scale.
· Place orders that are on Blanket Requisitions as well as written requisition for purchasing for all non-job-related items for shop floor.
· Monitor battery recycling program (maintain stock and process battery return to vendor).
· Prepares documentation for Crib Catalog Entry System.
· Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.).
· Receive, unpack, and check all incoming MRO shipments as needed to assist receiving.
· At times, team members may be required to assist general labor with equipment tear downs, material salvage for repurpose in jobs and or critical spares.
*If working in external warehouse (Barn) duties remain consistent with focus on salvage/refurbished parts/tools and or build equipment as opposed to brining in/maintaining new inventory of same/related products.
This full-time role is a part of our Materials Team and will be reporting to the Materials Supervisor.
Required education & experience:
· High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Responsible for reading and understanding the TS16949 and ISO-14001 procedures
· Must have a valid driver license.
· Must be able to safely operate forklift.
· Must be able to safely operate overhead cranes.
· QAD experience preferred.
Preferred Additional Skills & Abilities:
· Good working skills with Microsoft Office software
