Job Description

Cricut is looking for a passionate and talented Global Revenue Manager to be a key leader in our Accounting Team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day, monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting operations. This may include preparing/reviewing journal entries, building monthly/quarterly reports, and managing the cycle of accounting tasks including audits, close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. In this role, you will actively contribute to developing and maintaining strong accounting practices that will be critical to Cricut’s ability to scale as an SEC reporting company. • Understand and report the accounting for Revenue (reconciliations, journal entries, etc.)
• Actively participate in accounting for both the contractual and non-contractual arrangements with the Company’s customers
• Complete the required steps on behalf of the finance department in the new customer setup and review process
• Contribute to the Controller group with projects as assigned
• Partner with FP&A on segmentation reporting
• Review strategic initiatives with Pricing team
• Participate in system implementation and upgrade projects
• Apply ASC 606 / IFRS 15 technical guidance to transactions
• Document and define technical processes using accounting guidance from various sources
• Write complex accounting memorandums where necessary
• Develop an understanding and expertise of Cricut’s internal controls over financial reporting
• Contribute to the preparation of schedules and supporting documents for external audits as performed by the outside accounting firm

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required, Master’s Degree a plus
• 4-5+ years of accounting experience; Public accounting experience is strongly preferred
• 1-3 years of management experience
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Understand in depth and complex processes, especially related to revenue and inventory accounting
• Experience understanding the accounting environments of companies within the consumer products and technology industries
• Experience and advanced competency with Excel
• Accounting information systems experience a plus (ideally SAP and RevPro)
• Experience in Similar Revenue Systems to RevPro - NetSuite ARM, RevStream
• Proven track record of excelling within team environments
