    Job Description

    Cricut has an immediate opportunity for a Material Quality Technician on our Materials Quality Team. You will be responsible for completing mechanical and user testing for new and existing materials based on standardized test methods, test plans and sequence of procedure (SOP) documents. You should be able to analyze test data, provide conclusions based on the data and support QA concerns in meetings with cross-functional and project teams.

    An ideal candidate can:

    • Learn quickly and maintain a positive attitude.
    • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
    • Use mechanical and scientific testing equipment, including tensile testing machines, microscopes, UV and environmental chambers.
    • Use current Cricut products Explore, Maker, Joy, EasyPress and other products/tools.
    • User Cricut software – Design Space and other internal systems.
    • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written communication.
    • Be a self-starter, capable of working independently.
    • Maintain high attention to detail even while working on repetitive tasks.
    • Work on multiple projects at one time without error.
    • Develop and improve testing methodology under the direction of quality engineers.
    • Support other qualification activities as needed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Strong math skills and knowledge of key engineering concepts and measurements.
    • Experience with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
    • Experience testing, analyzing, troubleshooting, or repairing issues with mechanical test machines.
    • Experience working with precise measurements and procedures.
    • Experience with improving or developing test methodology and procedures preferred but not required.
    • Ability to collect, analyze and present data and findings from testing to technical and non-technical audience.
    • Four-year degree preferred.
    • Previous experience with Cricut products and materials preferred.
