  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    As a production designer, you will physically create pre-designed DIY projects as well as write instructions and take step-out photography of your process. These projects will be loaded into Design Space for our consumer to re-create. They will also be used in our marketing campaigns, ads, and other events. Your primary responsibility is to make DIY projects to perfection and create an experience our community will enjoy.

    Responsibilities

    • Physically create pre-designed projects for photoshoots, tv airings, and events.

    • Write detailed instructions for unique and complex projects.

    • Take step out photography + edit photos to enhance complex projects instructions.

    • Act as a product expert at photo shoots and events.

    • Office management: making sure materials are in stock/ordered.

    • Manage the project library (projects sent out for different events)

    • Create projects from 3D image sets in Design Space

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Extensive experience in DIY crafting fashion, home décor, party, and paper crafts. Portfolio must exhibit abilities.

    • Proficiency using Cricut (or similar) machines and products

    • Extensive and diverse knowledge in different craft mediums and be able to write clear instructions on how to make something.

    • Basic photography Skills.

    • Knowledge in Photoshop.

    • Familiarity with spreadsheets.

    • Attention to detail and perfection in execution

    • Comfortable with designing under fast timelines

    • Bonus: Pattern drafting and sewing skills
