Responsibilities: • Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in criminal proceedings, hearings, trials, and plea negotiations. • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective defense strategies. • Draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, and appeals. • Communicate with clients to provide legal counsel. • Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management. • Supervise and mentor legal assistants, ensuring effective delegation of tasks and professional development. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. • Active license to practice law in North Carolina. • Minimum of 1-2 years of courtroom experience in criminal defense. • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing support staff. • Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality. Compensation: $65,000 - $90,000
