Responsibilities: • Take command of criminal defense matters from day one , aggressively protecting client rights and making sure their position is heard — and felt — at every stage • Build airtight defense strategies , leveraging deep legal research, sharp analysis, and proactive investigation to dismantle the prosecution’s case • Lead clients through high-pressure situations , delivering clear, direct guidance while setting expectations and driving decisive action • Produce elite-level work product , drafting and filing motions, briefs, and pleadings that are precise, strategic, and built to win • Negotiate from leverage, not compromise , pushing prosecutors toward dismissals, reductions, or the strongest possible resolutions • Own the courtroom , delivering confident arguments, strategic cross-examinations, and real-time decision-making under pressure • Stay ahead of the law — and the opposition , tracking legal developments and using them to outmaneuver and outperform opposing counsel Qualifications: • Battle-tested criminal defense experience , with a relentless focus on client advocacy and results-driven representation • Sharp analytical firepower , able to conduct deep legal research and convert facts into strategic, evidence-backed defense plans • Proven execution at a high level , consistently producing precise, persuasive motions, briefs, and pleadings that move cases forward • Strong negotiation instinct , leveraging preparation and positioning to drive dismissals, reductions, and optimal outcomes • Commanding courtroom presence , delivering confident, composed advocacy in hearings and trials under pressure • Continuously operating ahead of the curve , staying current on criminal law, statutes, and precedent to maintain a competitive edge • Clear, direct communicator , capable of guiding clients through complex, high-stakes situations with confidence and control Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 yearly
