Responsibilities: • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients, whether at the office or detention centers, to assess their legal requirements and develop an optimal case strategy. • Supervise a diverse caseload that covers misdemeanors and felonies, managing each case from inception to resolution. • Attend hearings and trials conducted in state courts located in Northern Virginia to represent clients effectively. • Support clients by preparing, filing, and presenting legal documents such as court motions and memoranda to state judges in Northern Virginia. Qualifications: • Licensed to Practice Law in Virginia. • A minimum of 3 years of experience in criminal defense is preferred, which should include handling felony cases and conducting jury trials. Compensation: $115,000+ annually
