We are currently seeking an experienced full-time attorney to join our growing, mission-driven team with 5+ years of practicing criminal law, whether as a prosecutor or defense counsel. Responsibilities: • Take ownership of a diverse caseload, representing clients in all stages of criminal proceedings—from investigation through trial, and beyond. • Oversee and collaborate on cases that include federal charges and state felony, misdemeanor, OVI/DUI, and traffic offenses. • Craft thoughtful, strategic defense plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and goals. • Draft and argue motions, conduct negotiations, and advocate at hearings and trials. • Communicate proactively and compassionately with clients, keeping them informed and involved. • Collaborate with a supportive team of attorneys and staff to ensure the highest standards of care and case management. • Maintain timely and meticulous documentation and adhere to internal systems and processes. • Ability to conduct consultations with potential clients and provide them with a sense of how their cases will be handled and why our firm is the best option for their needs. Qualifications: • A licensed attorney in Ohio with 5+ years of criminal law experience (defense or prosecution). Admission to the Northern District of Ohio is a plus. • An excellent communicator who respects the dignity of clients and colleagues alike. • A skilled advocate with strong litigation instincts, strategic insights, and a passion for justice. • A skilled writer who can develop compelling arguments to be filed in legal briefs and sentencing memoranda.
