Responsibilities include: • Manage a meaningful caseload of criminal defense matters (misdemeanors and felonies) • Appear in court for arraignments, hearings, motions, and trials as needed • Develop case strategy, draft and argue motions, and negotiate resolutions • Conduct client meetings and maintain consistent, proactive communication • Collaborate closely with the team (intake, case management, investigators, attorneys) • Maintain high standards for preparation, deadlines, and documentation Who You Are You’re not looking for “just another job.” You want to make a difference — to stand up in court and stand beside clients. Responsibilities: Client Advocacy & Representation • Defend clients in a wide range of criminal cases, including DUIs, domestic violence, sex crimes, drug offenses, and federal matters. • Manage every phase of a case—from intake and arraignment to motions, hearings, trial, and appeal. • Design and implement legal strategies that protect and advance each client’s future. Case Management & Preparation • Conduct thorough legal research, depositions, and witness preparation. • Draft and file persuasive motions, pleadings, and briefs. • Maintain proactive, timely communication with clients, co-counsel, and court personnel. Courtroom Excellence • Represent clients confidently and effectively in court on a regular basis. • Deliver clear, strategic, and compelling arguments before judges and juries. • Respond quickly and decisively under pressure in adversarial settings. Client Experience & Communication • Build trust through frequent, transparent, and compassionate communication. • Provide honest, empowering guidance to clients navigating high-stress situations. • Ensure every client feels supported, respected, and valued throughout their case. Qualifications: Who You Are: • A licensed Florida attorney with 2+ years of criminal defense experience (DUI, sex crimes, federal cases a plus). • A fierce advocate who believes in justice and second chances. • Detail-oriented, coachable, and hungry to grow personally and professionally. Compensation: $100,000 - $200,000 yearly
